Finding My Muse

The Dancing Sky
SOLD
I've been asking for help from my spirit guides after starting the book Seeing in the Dark by Colleen Deatsman and Paul Bowersox. http://www.colleendeatsman.com/seeinginthedark.html
It is a book full of shamanic exercises for among other things restoring balance. Balance is somethng I have struggled with since moving in with elderly parents a few years back. (Dementia sucks.) It seems to be helping me finding my muse and hopefully I'll find that elusive balance.
I am directed to continue with the spirit horse series. The ideas, well visions are just flowing. The Dancing Sky really rolled out even with constant interuptions I get while in the studio.(sigh)
After two days off playing with the grandkids I'm raring to go on the blue horses that are barely started. They already look interesting. Now just to get them to match the visions of sugar plums I have in my head.

Rainbow and Tepee

Looks like a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
We are entering the rainy season here. This year it seems the rainy season never ended. After spending a few more nights in the finally flea free tepee I decided to move out for the winter. Yesterday was the only day this week we weren't supposed to get rain and we didn't.
I loaded every thing on the truck and drove out the pasture. Looking back the rainbow appeared.
It's strange enough to have a rainbow on a sunny day, but to have it ending at the tepee on this day in particular was beyond unusual.
I have been focusing this week on asking my spirit guides for help.

Miami Goes to School

After spending weeks alternating between barn building and trailer loading lessons, my little darling Miami has gone for more training. She is having thirty days of training under saddle. She is about forty miles away, so I'll only be able to see her once a week. Here is her training blog.
I'm still working on the barn and hope to have it pretty much finished before cold weather sets in.
Back to more painting now. I am working on the spirit horse series.
